Porn probe man remanded in custody

The Littleborough man charged with possession of child porn has been remanded in custody and is expected to face a joint trial alongside Plymouth nursery worker Vanessa George.
Colin Blanchard, 38, appeared via video-link from Manchester Prison at Manchester Magistrates Court yesterday (Tuesday 16 June).
Blanchard has been charged with distributing, making and possessing indecent images of children and the possession of extreme pornographic images.
Mother of two George was arrested on the back of Blanchard's arrest last week.
Blanchard will appear at Minshull Street Crown Court, Manchester on Tuesday (23 June) where his case is expected to be sent to Plymouth so that he can be tried alongside George, who has also been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Plymouth Crown Court on 21 September.
