Porn probe suspect in court today

The Littleborough man arrested over the possession of indecent images of children is to appear at Manchester Crown Court today (Tuesday 16 June).
The arrest of Colin Blanchard, 38, resulted in the arrest of Plymouth nursery worker Vanessa George. Police have focused their investigation on the alleged exchange of images between George and Blanchard, some of which may have been taken inside the Plymouth nursery.
It is believed that a photograph of George wearing the nursery’s logo was found on a device belonging to Blanchard.
Blanchard’s charges relate to images found on a computer, mobile phones and other software.
The nursery in Plymouth is attended by more than 60 children aged two and above and has been closed whilst police continue their inquiries.
Blanchard has been charged with possessing and distributing indecent images.
