Detectives in Rochdale are appealing for witnesses after a 29 year old man was assaulted at a pub in Heywood, on Friday 10 December 2004.
At 9.25pm, police were called to a pub on Bury Road following reports that a man was being assaulted by a group of youths.
The man was taken to Fairfield General Hospital suffering cuts and abrasions to his head and face and he is now being detained for observation.
A 14 year old boy and a 14 year old girl, both from the Heywood area, have been arrested and will be questioned by officers later today.
