Machinery Grips Mans Arm at Work

At 1.00pm this afternoon, Thursday 25 November 2004, officers were called to a building site off Pilsworth Road in Heywood, Rochdale after receiving reports of a works accident.
A 55-year-old man from Longsight who was working on the site was taken to Fairfield Hospital where is currently being treated for serious injuries to his right arm after getting it caught in machinery.
The Health and Safety Executive have been informed.
