Police in Rochdale were appealing for help to trace a 66-year-old man missing from his home since Wednesday 27 October.
Officers were growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of Michael Whitham, who suffers from diabetes.
Michael left his home in Littleborough at approximately 9.45am in his red Land Rover Freelander, registration W785 VJW. He was due to travel to his daughter's house in Henstead near Beccles in Norfolk but never arrived.
Michael is described as being white, approximately 5ft 8in tall, of medium build, with dark blue eyes and balding grey hair. He wears glasses and speaks with a northern accent.
At the time of his disappearance he was wearing white canvas trousers, brown sandals and a green body warmer.
Michael's usual route would have taken him on the M62 to Ferrybridge in West Yorkshire, the A1 and the A17 towards Kings Lynn, the A47 towards Norwich and the A146 towards Beccles.
Michael was found safe and well in Suffolk, on Thursday 28 October.
