Learning To Be Safe On Wheels
A Junior Cycling Skills course for 10-13 year olds will teach young people how to be safe on the roads.
Organised by the Rochdale Road Safety Unit, in partnership with the Rochdale Travel Co-ordinator and Leisure & Recreation Services, the three day skills training course will take place from Tuesday 27 to Thursday 29 July at Heywood Sports Complex, West Starkey Street, Heywood. The course is free and, as places are limited, booking is essential by ringing 01706 864601. All participants must have a cycle helmet.
Each day will finish with an accompanied cycle ride from 2pm to 3.30pm giving a chance to practice the skills learned and a full day ride will finish the course on Friday 30 July.
