Date published: 16 April 2004
Brother Developments Ltd, the developer for the Ealees Development Area in Littleborough, will outline the current proposals for the site on Thursday 29 April 2004, and they want your views.
Rochdale Council and Rochdale Development Agency appointed Brother Developments Ltd to develop tourism and leisure facilities on the site on Canal Street, Littleborough.
The developer, the council and the development agency invite the public to come and find out about the latest proposals, which include building a pub/restaurant, retail units and housing on the site, and to give their views.
The consultation evening is at 6.30 pm on Thursday 29 April at Littleborough Coach House, Lodge Street.
Beverley Hirst, Senior Project Officer at Rochdale Development Agency, said, "We think that these proposals will make Littleborough even more vibrant, they will enhance the canal-side environment and encourage more people to visit the area. This consultation evening is an opportunity for the developers and ourselves to find out if local people agree."
