New Littleborough dental surgery open to public

Dental surgery
The new NHS dental surgery supported by Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale Primary Care Trust that has officially opened on Featherstall Road, Littleborough, which expects to treat 1,500-2,000 new patients per year, will employ an associate dentist, practice manager and two dental nurses. It has been partly funded by the PCT through the Department for Health’s Capital Funding programme to support improved dental access.
Carole Williams, Primary Care Contracts Performance Manager, said: “It was great to be at the launch of this excellent new facility. Dr Mushtaq has worked very hard to get the premises up and running and the PCT has worked closely with him to achieve this.
“The PCT is committed to improving access in general dental services and are already looking forward to the opening of a further new NHS dental surgery in the New Year.”
