A fundraising event for Comic Relief has raised £280.

Held on Saturday (7 March) at Hare Hill House, the event included an appearance from Frozen star Elsa, music from the Black Nan band and dances from the Okenhoof Cloggers.

Stalls on the day included clothes, toys and books and activities for those in attendance included arts and crafts, a tombola, a cake sale, make up and nails and face painting.

Organiser Leah Rushton said: “The fundraiser was a success. I couldn’t have done it without the help of Sarah Thomas though.”

This year, Red Nose Day is on Friday 13 March and whether it’s at work, school or at home, money raised for Red Nose Day is spent by Comic Relief to transform the lives of millions of people in the UK and across Africa.
