£3.4million makeover for Littleborough mill
Date published: 19 June 2008
Plans to turn a former cotton mill in Littleborough into an appartment block moved a step closer after developers were awarded a £3.4million loan for the project.
Plans to turn Clegg Hall mill into 23 new one, two and three-bedroom apartments are a step closer to being made a reality after Barclays Commercial Bank granted the loan to Huddersfield-based developer über Massclusive (UK).
Two outbuildings next to the Grade II-listed mill will be converted into luxury detached homes fronting a lake.
The mill has been left derelict since a fire in 2003.
The scheme is scheduled for completion early next year.
