Air Ambulance called to Whitworth High School

An air ambulance was called to Whitworth Community High School this afternoon (Monday 12 January) - they were called to was a suspected cardiac arrest of a man in his 70s.

The air ambulance arrived on scene at 1:01pm yesterday (Monday 12 January) and transferred the man from a land ambulance.

The air ambulance then left the scene at 2:50pm and took the man to Wythenshaw Hospital for treatment.

Whitworth Community High School have confirmed that the incident was not connected to the school and have added that their grounds were used as a convenient landings spot for the air ambulance.
