Domestic burglary for the month of November

Balderstone & Kirkholt

Hilltop Drive, Kirkholt on the 28 November at 04:00 the victim, who was woken up after hearing loud banging in the kitchen, went downstairs and saw the kitchen window smashed, however no property was stolen.

Balderstone Road, on the 28 November at 03:30, offenders tried to enter the property, however they were disturbed by the property owner; nothing was stolen.

Queensway, on the 25 November between 20:30 and 22:45. The offenders forced entry into the property and once inside  stole jewellery.

Friars Crescent, between 08:30 and 16:30 on 25 November offender/s use smashed a window to gain entry to the property, however nothing was taken.

Kildare Crescent, on the 24 November at 06:15,  offenders forced the lock on the door, however no entry was gained.

Badger Close, between the 12 November at 23:00 and the 13 November at 08:00,  offender/s entered the premises via an insecure rear door and once inside the premises stole car keys and electrical items, and then steal the victim's vehicle.

Brockway, between 11 November at 21:30 and the 12 November at 06:00,  offender/s entered the property by retrieving door keys from a mat behind the front door. Two sets of vehicle keys and two vehicles were stolen, however these were recovered.

Oldham Road, on the 11 November 20:00 and 23:00, offenders entered the porch area via an unlocked front door and stole two black motor cycle jackets. The jackets were searched and then discarded, nothing was stolen.

Queensway, on the 08November between 20:00 and 21:30, offenders  forced the ground floor window and stole £580 in cash and then made off.

Rhodes Crescent, on the 04 November at 13:30,  offender/s gain entry into property by kicking the back door in and cause extensive damage, however no property is stolen.

Craiglands, on the 03 November between 18:00 and 20:00, offender/s entered a property through an unlocked front door and stole the victims jacket before making off. The jacket was searched and the victim's car keys and vehicle were stolen and the jacket discarded.

Milnrow and Newhey

Buckley Hill Lane, on the 29 November, between 17:00 and 17:40, offender/s entered the property by smashing a rear patio window and stole jewellery.

Buckley Hill Lane, on the 20 November at 14:30, two offenders attempted to pull open a garage door to gain access tothe  property but were disturbed and made off.

Castleton

Thirlmere Road, on the 25 November between 10:00 and 16:00, offender/s smashed the rear patio door to gain entry and stole items.

Heywood Road, on the 17 November at 19:00, the offender entered the communal area which is for residents and stole two pints of milk from the fridge.

Leander Drive, on the 12 November between 08:00 and 17:00, offender/s smashed the rear conservatory doorand stole from a safe in the office. 

Manchester Road, on the 05 November at 09:00 and 17:28, offender/s entered the premises via an unlocked doorand stole items.

Kingsway/Newbold

Woodbine Street, on the 30 November at 20:45, two offenders approached the house, one went to the front door and one to the back door. The offender at the back door tried to gain entry. The victim disturbed the offender trying to enter the kitchen and both offenders made off.

Wensley Way, on the 28 November between 00:00 and 13:30, offenders tried to gain entry through a window, but no entry was gained,

Thornbush Way, on the 25 November between 13:00 and 18:30, offenders entered the property by smashing a window and stole jewellery.

Woodbine Street East, on the 22 November between 19:00 and 20:30, offender/s entered the property by forcing open the ground floor window and stole items including cash.

Jones Way, between 22:00 on 20 November and  05:30 on 21 November,  offender/s gained entry via an insecure front door, removed the screws from an internal security chain, and stole items including vehicle keys and the victim’s vehicle.

Lower Wheat End, on the 20 November at 14:40, offenders tried to gain entry to a property by kicking the rear patio doors. However, the offenders were disturbed by the victim and no entry was gained.

Rosefield Crescent, on the 19 November at 17:45,  offenders tried to gain entry to a property, however the alarm wass activated and entry was not gained.

Stanneybrook Close, on the 1 November at 15:20, the offender tried to enter a property through a ground floor window, however was disturbed.

Crown Street, between 17:00 on 18 November and 10:00 on the 19 November an offender acquired a key to a property and  whilst the victim was away and stole a television.

Marshall Street, on the 12 November between 00:01 and 01:30, offender/s removed beading from the front ground floor window, reached through the window and removed a handbag which contained items as well as car keys. The offender/s went to the rear of the property and stole a pedal cycle and the victim’s car.

Watkin Street, between the 23:59 on 10 November and the 02:00 on 11 November, offender/s entered the property via an insecure front door and stole items including cash and a wallet.

Turf Hill Road, on the 08 November between 15:30 and 19:59, offender/s used an implement to smash a glazed window in the door to gain entry and stole jewellery.

Church Road,  14:00 and 15:50 on 8 November, offender tried to enter a property via a secured bathroom window. No entry gained.

Newbold Hall Gardens,  between 05:55 and 08:20 on 8 November, an offender entered a property via an insecure front door and stole a handbag, car keys and cash,
and the victim’s vehicle.

Neston Road, between 17:45 and 18:05 on 7 November, three offenders attempted to force open a rear door, however the offenders were disturbed.

Wrenbury Drive, between 20:00 and 20:45 on 6 November,  offenders attempted to open a front door, however the offenders were disturbed and made off.

Kingsway, Turf Hill, between 14:30 and 15:30 on 6 November, offenders kicked the window frame causing the double glazed window to open and stole items including cash and watches.

Rosefield Crescent, between 11:50 and 18:45 on 3 November, offenders smashed a rear ground floor windowand stole  items such as money and jewellery.

Croxton Avenue, on the 02 November at 22:00, offenders gained entry to a property via an unlocked window and stole a handbag.

Croxton Avenue, on the 3 October at 18:30, offender/s smashed a glass door to gain entryand stole money.

Littleborough

Dearden Street, on the 20 November between 21:00 and 22:00, offender/s entered a property via an unlocked rear door and stole a handbag containing jewellery/cash and a coat before making off .

Blackstone Edge Old Road, on the 17 November between 16:00 and 17:00,  offenders entered a property by forcing a rear door, however once inside the property they did not steal anything.

Blackstone Edge Old Road, on the 17 November between 13:30 and 20:45, offenders forced the door and stole property including a television and a tablet as well as cash.

Merlin Close, between 18:00 on 4 November and  06:45 on 5 November, offenders approached a secure front door and opened the letter box to insert an implement through and removed car keys - which were on the floor under the letter box and stole the victim's vehicle.
