Simon Danczuk declares fees of £15,000 received for Cyril Smith book
Date published: 13 November 2014

Simon Danczuk MP
Simon Danczuk received a total of just over £15,000 as his share of the money paid by the owners of the Daily Mail for the serialisation of his book on Cyril Smith and fees from the book's publisher, Biteback.
Following the news last week that Mr Danczuk is the subject of an inquiry by the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards for failing to to declare the fees he received in the register of MPs' financial interests, Mr Danczuk's entry in the register has now been updated online.
Mr Danczuk's updated entry also reveals he has set up a new company, Danczuk Media Ltd, which will "assist in the production of media articles".
