Body of a woman found in Healey Dell

The body of a woman believed to be in her 50s has been found in Healey Dell.
She has not yet been formally identified.
Police had been searching for a woman who had gone missing; Susan George, aged 56, went missing from her home in the Healey area of Rochdale. It is believed the last sighting of Susan was between 9am and 10am, yesterday, Tuesday 11 November 2014, near Foxglove Court, Healey.
A GMP spokesman said: “At around 8.15am on Wednesday 12 November police were called to Dell Road in Shawclough to reports a body had been found. Officers attended to find the body of a woman believed to be in her 50s.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the cause of death; at this stage in the investigation the woman’s death remains unexplained.”
There are no suspicious circumstances and a file is being prepared for the Coroner.
