The hospice Golf Day event took place yesterday (Friday 19 September) with 30 teams teeing off at Rochdale Golf Club. The event was a four ball stable ford competition with lunch.

Community Fundraiser Lille Winterbottom paid a visit to Sacred Heart Primary School yesterday (Friday 26 September) to present junior fundraisers Laura and Michael Tarran with their prizes for being the highest fundraisers at last year's Santa Fun Run. The hospice has waited until now to award the pair with their prizes because the Hospice wanted them to be the first people to receive a baby Springy toy.

The final of the hospice bowling competition will take place on Sunday 21 September. The competition will see 16 teams of mixed pairs compete in crown green bowls for the title of Springhill Hospice Bowling Mixed Pairs Champions at Ladybarn Bowling Club.

Springy will be making an appearance at the opening of a new Tesco store in Whitworth on Tuesday 23 September. The store has decided to make a donation to the Hospice. Springy will be there from around 10:30am.

The Hospice will also be exhibiting at this years Rochdale Online Business Exhibition on Wednesday 24 September between 4pm and 7pm at Rochdale Town Hall. Visitors to the exhibition can speak to representatives from Springhill Hospice about their work and their fundraising activities.
