A 55 year old male has been arrested and charged for drink driving this week after henearly caused an RTC.

Two males in their thirties have pleaded guilty at court in relation to a serious assault and have been remanded in custody.

A repeat offender has been arrested this week on suspicion of a number of offences.

Littleborough Lakeside - Burglary

Halifax Road – 22:00 18 August – 03:50 19 August - offender/s approach front of property. Use unknown implement to force open Yale lock in slightly bowed door. Enter through hallway into living room and dining room, stealing items close to hand. Exit as per entry stealing motor vehicle parked to side of premises using keys. Make off towards Rochdale.

Milnrow/Newhey – Burglary

Newfield View – 20 August – 01:55 – 02:00 - offender approaches front door which is unlocked. Pushes open door and takes keys from the inside door lock. Makes off a short distance to parked motor vehicle. Enters into vehicle with keys, making off to the top of road making good escape.

Kirkholt/Balderstone – Burglary

Kildare Crescent – 15 August – 11:55 - unknown male offender approaches from unknown direction and has knocked on front door and window and the victim has answered the door. The offender has stated that they needed to; 'check that taps as they needed to bring the dirt through.' Victim allows them into the premises and whilst inside the address they have checked the draws under the sink and then offender goes upstairs to check on the toilet. On returning downstairs the offender checks on the fire and then conducts untidy search of the draw in the living room locating leather purse in draw and removing money. The offender is disturbed by the victim who catches him doing this. At this offender runs from address and victim calls her sister in law. Exit route front door.

Kingsway - Burglary

Waithlands Road – 15 August – 18:30 – 20:20 - unknown offender approaches rear kitchen window of the house and using unknown implement and means offender cracks the window and reaches in through the window and unlocks window offender then climbs through window and gains entry. Offender then conduct untidy search of the property stealing items offender then using entry as exit and makes off making good escape.

Waterman View – 15 August – 19:00 – 21:00 – Suspects are known to victim and had been invited into address as guests, whilst at address items of jewellery were stolen.
Beswicke Royds Street – 17 August – 19:30 – 19:43 - unknown offenders approach property from front pathway, using unknown implement or object smash ground floor outer pane of window, offenders possibly disturbed and do not enter property and make off in same direction as approach.

Turf Hill Road – 19 August – 13:00 – 14:00 - unknown offender/s approach rear of property; attempt to force ground floor back door but do not gain entry; offenders then force open ground floor kitchen window using unknown implement gaining entry to the address. Offenders make untidy search of ground and first floor taking Asian gold and a laptop before making good their escape via point of entry in unknown direction.
