Vincenzo Iannidinardi with Dave Brown, and the Forme Longcliffe Racer
Cycle Addicts in Rochdale are helping Wellchild to get specialist care for sick children in the UK.
Dave Brown, the owner of cycle addicts, has already donated a Forme Longcliffe Racer to Vincenzo Iannidinardi for a charity bike ride in aid of Wellchild; and now, in its aid, he is auctioning it off!
Dave said: “We gave this bike to Vincenzo because it is modern and light but good for endurance rides. Some bicycles are so advanced that they can be uncomfortable to ride as they are set up purely for speed but this one was perfect for a hundred miles.”
Vincenzo added: “The bike has been brilliant and I can’t thank Dave enough; not just for the bike but setup and advice which made a real difference when it came to the event. Dave’s shop caters for off-road and road bikes and his skills as a fitter and a technician have been invaluable.”
The bike retails when new at £600, so he is hoping that the auction could take his total to over £1,000.
The bike will be listed online but will be on display in the shop where people can come in and make a bid or just make a donation to Wellchild. Every one that bids or makes a donation will be given a 10% discount voucher against any purchase from the shop at Red Brook Mill on Bury Road.
The bike will be fully serviced before being sold.
So far Vincenzo has raised just under £800 and you can still donate by visiting:
