Oulder Hill achieve record GCSE results

Oulder Hill Community School and Language College has achieved record results in the 2014 GCSEs with 77% of students achieving C+ in Maths and 75% C+ in English, and a record a record 67% of students achieving both.
Every student taking Italian and German achieved C+ and 88% achieved C+ in French.
Individual excellent performances came from Zeshan Amjad who achieved 8A*, 2A; Tanzeela Mazher – 6A*, 5A; Megan Hamer – 4A*, 6A, 1B; Matthew McKenzie – 6A*, 2A, 2B; Haider Rashid – 2A*, 4A, 4B and Frankie Bagshaw – 7A, 2B.
John Watson, Headteacher, said: "We are obviously delighted with these results, which are a testimony to the hard work of the students and the dedication they have shown over the last five years.
"In addition we would like to recognise our amazing staff who have worked tirelessly above and beyond the call of duty and our very supportive parents who have worked so closely with us to support the students and help them achieve such brilliant results.
"Many congratulations to all of them."
