Karen Danczuk hits back at Louise Mensch criticism

Karen Danczuk, Labour councillor for Kingsway and wife of Rochdale MP Simon Danczuk, has hit back at an attack on her by former Conservative MP Louise Mensch, who has accused her of demeaning women in politics by posting photos of her cleavage on Twitter.

Ms Mensch directed her ire at Mrs Danczuk following her tweet about her appearance in Zoo saying: "...you're a Labour councillor and equally making a tit of yourself in that position too."

Mrs Danczuk responded: "Yawn - go away!!! You’re obsessed with my boobs. I’m flattered but you’re being weird! Go stretch your face some more", and added, "I said a while ago if women stopped bitching about each other maybe there would be more women at the top. Some women just can't help it."

Mrs Danczuk revealed today to her Twitter followers, the number of whom has doubled since she began posting her 'cleavage selfies', that she has a phobia of the sea but on her recent holiday in Spain she went in waist deep and "topless".
