Date published: 14 August 2014
Customers were left without power yesterday (Wednesday 13 August) after an underground cable fault - it is understood 38 premises were affected.
Electricity North West received a call at 3.21pm to alert them to the problem and restored power to those affected by 9.12pm.
A spokesperson for Electricity North West said: “Engineers were sent to the problem and fixed it as quickly as they could with power being restored to those affected by 9.12pm. Lord Street was the only street to be affected by the issue.”
