Pair charged with neglect of vulnerable man, 79

Two people have been charged following an investigation into reports of neglect, abuse and poor levels of care at a 79-year-old man’s house.
Khalid Hussain (born 01/01/1987), of Croxton Avenue, Rochdale and Mohammed Azeem (born 03/05/1976), of Roch Valley Way, Rochdale are charged with ill-treating/wilfully neglecting a person without capacity.
They are due before Rochdale Magistrates' Court on 29 August 2014.
It follows an investigation by police in Rochdale into reports that the 79-year-old man, who is from the Rochdale area, was subject to abuse, neglect and poor levels of care by two men employed by a care company.
The man is unable to communicate and has severe physical disabilities and long-standing medical issues.
