Officers discovered a cannabis farm in the address of a wanted male early this morning (8 August). His equipment was confiscated farm and the male arrested.

Two men have been charged following an assault in Rochdale town centre in the early hours of Sunday 3 August 2014.

Liam Browitt, born 12/05/1995, of Prince Street, Rochdale, and Jack Waters, born 26/04/1994 of Partington Street, Rochdale, have both been charged with assault. They were due appeared before magistrates on Monday 4 August 2014. 

The charges relate to an assault on a 17-year-old boy who was waiting for a taxi at 4.15am on Sunday 3 August 2014. He was punched to the face and then kicked and stamped on the head. He remains in hospital having suffered serious injuries to his head and face including a fractured eye socket.

Wardle 
Between 10am on 6 August and 4.10am on 7 August at Ramsden Road.
Offenders approached the property through a secure door and opened it using unknown implements. The offenders conducted a untidy search and left without causing damage to the property.

Smallbridge & FirgroveSunday 3 August 3.00am at The Cray Milnrow. Eight offenders approached the property in two separate vehicles. The offenders attempted to make entry by kicking the doorbefore making off after being disturbed.

Friday 1 August between 1.30pm and 9.50pm at Halifax Road. Offenders approached the ground floor flat and forced their way in to gain entry. Offenders then searched the property and made off with several items.

Kirkholt/Balderstone
Monday 4 August between 2.15pm 4.02pm at Crompton Avenue . Offenders approached the property and smashed the door panel. The offenders reached inside and unlocked the rear door using the key that was in the lock. An untidy search of every room in the house was conducted. The offenders then took off through the garden fence with stolen property.

Kingsway
Monday 4 August 3.15pm and 4.02pm at Crompton Avenue. The offender reached inside and unlocked the rear door using keys that were left in the lock. Once inside the offender stole property including computer equipment and jewellery.
