Arrests/Warrants
Two people have been charged in connection with a robbery in Heywood.

Niall Kiernan (born 29/01/1991) of Caldbeck Drive in Middleton has been charged with robbery and Stacey Brewer (born 28/08/1990) of Caldbeck Drive in Middleton has been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and drug offences.

They are both due to appear and Manchester and Salford magistrates’ on Wednesday 6 August 2014.

On Thursday 12 June 2014 at about 3pm two men approached a bank on York Street in Heywood.

They broke into the bank and made threats towards staff and demanded cash.

They then stole cash and ran out of the bank and drove off in a car waiting outside.

A male has been caught with possession of cannabis in the Middleton area and has been reported for summons and is to appear at a magistrate’s court for a date to be set.

A male and female juvenile have been arrested in connection with a theft of pedal cycle and also burglary (non dwelling) at an address in Middleton.

On 29 July 2014, a male and female approached an address on Viscount Drive, Middleton and stolen a pedal cycle worth £150. On 5 August 2014, the male and female were arrested and the pedal cycle was recovered. Both have been interviewed and bailed to return to Bury custody office on the 15 September 2014.
