Cyclist seriously injured after being hit by a lorry

A male cyclist has been seriously injured after being hit by a lorry on Dane Street this evening (Monday 4 August) just before 5pm.
Police and the air ambulance attended the scene.
It is understood that the cyclist was the only person injured.
Dane Street remains closed.
Police confirmed that an investigation is currently on going.
