Police issue image of man after a flasher is reported in Heywood

Date published: 04 August 2014

Police have issued an image of a man that they want to speak to in connection to a number of incidents in which a man flashed at women in Heywood.

At around 1pm on Saturday (2 August), a man exposed himself to a number of women on Argyle Street. He then walked across Bullough Moor Park and on to Regent Street where he again exposed himself to a woman.

He was last seen on Kent Walk.

The victims raised the alarm and police were called to the scene. Police have now released a photograph of a man wanted over the indecent exposures.

A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said: “He is described as a white male, aged late 20s, skinny build, brown hair, which is thick at the back, wearing a dark green baseball cap, green baggy jumper, pale blue jeans and dark footwear.”

Anyone with information should call 101 or crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
