Two men charged following assault in Rochdale town centre

Two men have been charged following an assault in Rochdale town centre in the early hours of yesterday, Sunday 3 August 2014.
Liam Browitt, born 12/05/1995, of Prince Street, Rochdale, and Jack Waters, born 26/04/1994 of Partington Street, Rochdale, have both been charged with assault.
They were due to appear Bury Magistrates Court on Monday, 4 August 2014.
The charges relate to an assault on a 17-year-old boy who was waiting for a taxi at 4.15am on Sunday 3 August 2014.
He was punched to the face and then kicked and stamped on the head. He remains in hospital having suffered serious injuries to his head and face including a fractured eye socket.
