Crime prevention tip
With the light nights and warmer weather being with us and also the schools breaking up, here is some general crime prevention advice on anti-social behaviour (ASB).
By playing an active role and reporting antisocial behaviour, you can help make your community a safer place.
If you are a victim or a witness of ASB, or if antisocial behaviour is affecting the quality of your life or if you feel threatened then telephone 101 – If you think that life is in danger due to anti-social behaviour – call 999.
You can also attend your local monthly police community meeting. As part of the police commitment to Service Promise, monthly community meetings are held where you can raise concerns about ASB.
If you have any concerns in relation to ASB then you can speak to your Police Community Support Officer. A team of PCSOs walk the streets of Rochdale and have powers to stop ASB. Speak to them if you have concerns about behaviour in your area.
You can also speak to your local council, and your local area may have neighbourhood wardens or a neighbourhood manager who you can speak to about your concerns.
