Lucky escape for woman whose car overturned on Elizabethan Way
A woman had a lucky escape when her car overturned on Elizabethan Way, Milnrow yesterday (Thursday 17 July) morning.
Emergency services were called to the incident just after 9am and removed the woman from her car; she was shaken but was not injured as a result of the accident.
The overturned red Renault Mégane blocked the road, causing traffic chaos. No other cars were involved.
The road reopened later in the day.
