Nominations are now open for the Communities First awards, celebrating those who have gone out of their way to help members of their local community.
Rochdale Boroughwide Housing (RBH) recognises the importance of having good neighbours, and whether they’ve been supportive during a crisis, or are the perfect neighbour all year round, the Good Neighbour Awards are a great chance for tenants to thank neighbours who have gone the extra mile.
RBH also recognises the amazing work done by local people who give up their own time to try and improve their local communities. The Volunteer of the Year Award is a way to celebrate their contributions.
The Good Neighbour Awards will award prizes to one nominee from each township area, and the Volunteer of the Year Awards will award prizes to five adults and five young people. Closing dates for nominations are 15 August 2014.
