The finishing touches are being completed at the Craven Heifer. The building, which is now the new fundraising offices for the Hospice will be the starting point the Pyjama Parade (on Saturday 12 July) .

Lloyds Banking Group Manchester sent the Hospice a huge bonus this week in the shape of their wealth team. The team worked hard to clear the
“jungle” that was the car park at the Craven.

Organisers of the Pyjama Parade are expecting around 220 people to take part. The Hospice expected around 200 people to get involved so are very pleased to have exceeded that number. People can still book in on the day but large parties are asked to phone ahead so the team can be prepared.

Registration for the event starts from 8.30pm with walkers setting off at 9.30pm.

Saba Salam has joined Springhill Hospice as part of the community fundraising team and joined the team at the first ever dragon boat race for
Springhill Hospice. Also in her first week, Saba has been involved with a school visit and a fun day.

The Heywood Springhill Hospice shop won the window competition at the 1940s weekend. The Hospice were pleased to find out they had won and
congratulated shop manager Derek and his team for all of their hard work.
