St Margaret's Rainbows, Brownies and Guides celebrate 50 years of school

Date published: 11 July 2014

Members of St Margaret's Rainbows, Brownies and Guides are celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the School where they have their weekly meetings.

St Margaret’s Guides chose to plant an apple tree to mark the occasion, and girls from the different Guiding groups that meet at the school painted pebbles to place in the school’s nature garden which has been developed to commemorate this special anniversary.

Volunteer Guide Leader Alison Quinn said: "It was lovely for the Rainbows, Brownies and Guides to get together to celebrate this anniversary and work together to create something that can be enjoyed by the community for years to come.

"We would like to thank the school for including us in their celebrations".

St Margaret's C.E. School and Church opened in 1964, and is celebrating its 50th Anniversary with many events for members of the community.
