A car was stolen from outside of a house on Rakewood Road on Monday (7 July) afternoon.

The incident happened shortly after 2pm when the owner of the car, a Skoda,  was visiting a property on Rakewood Road, Littleborough.

It is understood that a man walked over to the car and shouted to a friend before shouting at the owner of the car who witnessed the whole thing.

The owner of the car said: “It was all over within about 30 seconds. At one point I felt rather intimidated because one of them shouted before getting in the car and driving off. It was broad daylight as well.”

One of the men involved has dark hair whilst the other is described as having blond hair.

CCTV captured the incident with that being passed on to the police.

“I am not convinced anything will be done. It is not that I don’t have faith in the police but I just don’t think they will get anywhere with it,” said the witness.

The stolen car is currently still missing.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: “Enquires are still ongoing with the car currently outstanding.”
