Wardle Academy’s Year 7 Cheerleading Squad
On Sunday 22 June, Wardle Academy’s Year 7 Cheerleading Squad took part in the UK Cheerleading Association National Schools’ Competition at the Manchester Velodrome.
They competed against schools from all over the country and were placed 4th in their category (KS3 Level 2); a fantastic achievement for their first competition!
The Squad have only been cheerleading since October 2013 and learnt the skills required and routine very quickly to enable them to compete.
