Date published: 02 July 2014
Residents and Staff at Honresfeld are looking forward to watching the Tour De France passing through Littleborough this Sunday.
Honresfeld’s volunteers will be present in Hare Hill Park over the weekend as will their yellow wheelchair.
Danielle Turner said: “We are hoping our yellow wheelchair helps us raise awareness of disability within our community and the difficulties disabled people face, at the same we will be enjoying and supporting this fantastic event pass through our town.
"Our Residents, Staff and volunteers are looking forward to joining in the weekends’ events in the local park and also hoping to get up to the site to watch them passing through.
"We are constantly seeking volunteers to support our service, if you would like to get involved please contact Danielle or Louise on 01706 378627 or email Danielle.turner@lcdisability.org."
