Middleton Trampoline Club awarded £5,763.84 grant

Date published: 25 June 2014

Middleton Trampoline Club has been awarded with a grant of £5,763.84 to help them buy a trampoline and equipment.

British Gymnastics awarded the money after the club submitted a funding application for the equipment.

Head Coach Lisa Lee said: “We are over the moon to have received this money. It is great news and it will really help us.”

The club will now use the money to purchase a new trampoline and equipment from GymAid as this is something that they don’t currently own.

“Wherever we train, we hire equipment and rooms so now with this money we can buy a new trampoline and mats that are ours. Hopefully we can save a bit of money along the way as well,” said Lisa.

The equipment will be stored at St Anne’s Academy in Middleton with Lisa hoping it will improve the quality of their sessions.

She said: “It will increase the class sizes and the performance of the participants who will gain so much from this high quality trampoline.”
