St John with Michael CE Primary Art Exhibition

Following on from a wonderful week filled with all manner of arts and crafts the children of St John with Michael CE Primary held their own Art Exhibition within school to raise money for school funds.

Parents were invited in to buy their children’s art or craft work and look at the various finished work. The children proudly showed their parents round the exhibition and explained how they had made the items on display. They even taught some of the parents about the artists the work was based on.

There was also the announcement of the winner of the Art Competition.

The children were invited to submit any style of art and Alex Penty from class 3 was the winner with her Artist Inspired Canvas showing a range of Van Gogh and Georgia O'Keefe inspired work.
