150 children take part in music workshop
150 children from 9 Primary schools in Rochdale and Oldham took part in a fantastic music workshop event at Heybrook Primary School on Thursday 19 June.
Schools taking part included: Belfield, Greenbank, Hamer, Heybrook, Marland Hill, Moorhouse, St. Andrews, Spotland, and Stanley Road, which are part of the IPLCN group of schools.
The children played 4 musical pieces that they had rehearsed and a variety of instruments were used including recorders, clarinets, flutes, fifes, guitars, ukuleles and plastic drums.
The session was enhanced by musicians from Rochdale Music Service.
