The Hospice Summer Serenade event takes place this evening (Saturday 21 June). The event is sold out.

The Hospice will be holding a giant tombola at the Heywood 1940s event (Saturday 28 June) and at the Dragon Boat Race event (Saturday 5 July). Anyone who has any unwanted gifts or prizes that can be donated for the tombolas can do so by dropping them off at the Springhill Hospice reception between 8.00am and 8.00pm or at the Fundraising Offices which are now located at the Craven Heifer on Broad Lane between 8:30am and 4:30pm.

The ground floor of the Craven Heifer has nearly finished being developed and decorated. The fundraising team from the Hospice moved into the premises towards the end of May.

Volunteers have helped clear weeds from the front of the building and students from Hopwood Hall College are due to help with plastering next week. A new kitchen is also set to be fitted next weekend.
