The Big Games comes back to the Rochdale Borough

The Big Games, an event hosted by Link4Life, is coming back to the Rochdale borough.

The events will take place in Littleborough, Kingsway Park, Middleton, Heywood and Rochdale over the next few weeks.

Climbing, tennis, badminton, mountain biking and football are just some of the activities that will be on offer at these different events.

There will also be free face-painting and an arts and crafts station, so there is something fun for all the family.

The Big Games is in partnership with Link4Life’s ‘Activ8teme’ scheme. The scheme aims to get more people active by specialising in low cost, easy access sessions across a range of sports.

All events are free for all and no booking is required.

The Big Games will take place at:

  • Kingsway Park Sports Centre 12 - 2pm  21 June
  • Littleborough Sports Centre 11am - 3pm 28 June Middleton Arena 11am - 3pm 29 June 
  • Touchstones Rochdale and Broadfield Park 11am - 3pm 12 July
  • Queen’s Park, Heywood 11am - 3pm 13 July
