Siddal Moor Lloret de Mar Sports Tour 2014

Siddal Moor Sports College students enjoyed a trip to Lloret de Mar in Spain in May, participating in training sessions with the West Ham Football Academy and England Netball coaches.
41 pupils were accompanied by six members of staff during the trip.
Pupils were given the chance to put their newly learnt skills to good use in tournaments against other schools from around the UK.
Siddal Moor’s Under 13 boy’s football team did particularly well in the tournament and finished third overall.
The group also managed to visit the city of Barcelona, where pupils visited the Nou Camp Stadium, Parc Guell, and The Sagrada Familia. The group also participated in other activities such as bowling in Blanes, a disco in a local nightclub and a trip to the waterpark.
The pupils were described as being ‘a credit to themselves, their parents and the school’.
