E-publishers, Tight Circle Publishing will donate the royalties from the sale of a selection of their books to Myeloma UK and the North Manchester and Bury Myeloma Support Group.

From Tuesday 1 July to Monday 14 July, the royalties from books sold by author Steven Teasdale will go to the charities.

Steven’s books include crime fiction under his own name as well as under the pseudonym Tessa Dale, chick lit as Mona French and young adult fiction as Alex Destry.

Steven said: “I came up with the idea of donating all royalties from the sale of my books to the support group and Myeloma UK so they can continue helping patients like me in the future.”

Myeloma is a cancer caused by abnormal cells in the bone marrow. Every year, around 4,700 people in the UK are diagnosed with myeloma.

There is currently no cure for myeloma but there are many very effective treatments.

Myeloma UK is the only organisation in the UK dealing exclusively with myeloma.

Steven added: “I wanted to raise funds for a cancer charity close to my heart. Myeloma UK and the North Manchester and Bury Support Group have been an invaluable source of comfort, support and information.”

A spokesperson for Tight Circle Publishing said: “We are keen to support Myeloma UK in the best way we can by donating our catalogue of book titles to a worthy cause.”
