Metal band looking for keyboard player

Date published: 28 May 2014

A new band being set up in the Rochdale area is looking for a keyboard player to complete their line up.

Sam Durham, who is starting the band, said: “With a keyboard player you can do more than what you could do without one.”

The band currently consists of five members including two guitarists, a singer and a drummer and Sam is giving himself five days to find his final member before going ahead without one.

“I think it is a time thing as to why I’m giving myself this amount of time. We found our drummer pretty quickly so now we want to get started. We will still do the band if we can’t find a keyboard player but we just thought it would add something extra to the band,” said Sam.

Sam and his fellow band members are looking for someone who is “fun, creative and imaginative” to complete the line up.

Sam, who is currently in a band, decided to branch out and start his own band which will go by the name of Whisky and Steel.

He added: “I just wanted to do a bit more and we weren’t doing a lot in the other band so I decided I could do a bit more with my own band.”

The band will be a Power Metal band and any keyboard players interested in joining the band can contact Sam on 07503 718710
