Man fighting for life after car hits him

A man has been left fighting for his life after a car hit him.
Police were called to Manchester Old Road in Middleton just after 7.15pm on Sunday (25 May) after a car had hit a male pedestrian.
It is understood that the car hit the man and overturned.
He was rushed to Hope Hospital in Manchester with life threatening injuries where he remains in serious condition.
Manchester Old Road was closed for accident investigation but soon re-opened.
