Adam Teal: From student to international chef

Date published: 26 May 2014

Adam Teal is setting off for Switzerland this weekend to start his new job as a chef.

Adam, 19, has landed the job of junior chef at the International Camp Suisse, a European summer camp for children and teenagers aged between 7 and 17.

The camp, which offers a multi-activity holiday for its visitors is set within the Swiss Alps and is where Adam will be based for the next four months.

Having never been to Switzerland before could be daunting for some, but Adam is looking forward to the experience and thanks to studying Professional Cookery he is certainly well equipped for the job.

Adam said: “I’d like to thank Bryan Townson in particular for his help and guidance. I’ve learnt a lot over the last few years and I’m proud of my progress.”
