Woodland’s School Go Green for Springhill

Last Friday (16 May) Woodland’s Community Primary School in Heywood went green in support of the Springhill Hospice’s 25th anniversary fundraiser.
Staff and pupils all dressed up in the colour green for the day and each donated a £1 to go to the hospice.
The year 6 pupils and staff baked lots of cakes for the occasion and “thoroughly enjoyed” holding a cake sale. The money they raised at the sale was also to be donated to the hospice.
The primary School managed to raise £420 for the hospice.
