Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service rescue two youths stranded in the middle of Hollingworth Lake
Two youths had to be rescued this evening (Sunday 18 May) after they became stranded on a raft on Hollingworth Lake.
The water unit from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) was called to rescue the youths.
A spokesman for GMFRS said: "The water unit from the fire service rescued them from the middle of Hollingworth Lake. Both boys were checked over and were OK.
"A good outcome after a hot day."
