Two women arrested in £10,000 drugs raid

Two women have been arrested after £10,000 worth of drugs were seized in raid on a house on Pine Street, Heywood today (Friday 9 May) following tip offs.
Police discovered the remnants of a cannabis farm, including a number of plants drying out and a small amount of ecstasy.
Two women, aged 23 and 27, who were in the property at the time of the raid, were arrested on suspicion of producing class A and class B drugs and have been bailed until 4 July.
