Zarka Hussain gets The French hospitality experience

Zarka Hussain, an 18-year-old hospitality student from Rochdale, has just completed six weeks work experience at The French restaurant in Manchester.

Zarka met The French’s restaurant manager Kamila Plonska when she was a judge at the Cook and Serve competition earlier this year.

Kamila was so impressed she offered Zarka work experience there and then.

The French, which is at the Midland Hotel in Manchester, is one of Britain’s first Michelin-starred restaurants. It is currently run by award winning chef Simon Rogan and is known for its world class cuisine and service.
