Celebrating Europe Day

Date published: 14 May 2014

The Languages department and catering team got together recently to celebrate Europe Day, giving everyone at Kingsway Park High School the chance to recognise the rich and diverse culture of our continent.

Tutor groups were introduced to languages from different countries such as Portuguese and Greek and were then encouraged to use them in the restaurant where there was a delicious choice of cuisine from around Europe.

Mrs S Donohue, Head of Languages said: “An inter-form competition was also held during the day which tested student’s knowledge of Europe, Form 8K1 were the eventual winners. Well done.”
