Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini along with Manchester City players have got on board with the Pennine Black’s cystic fibrosis charity campaign by signing a football shirt.

Pennine Black’s manager Gary Chant got the manager and players of the Premier League winning team to sign a Pennine Black’s shirt to show their support.

The team, which is aiming to score 50 goals throughout May for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, were scheduled to play another game of football on Sunday (11 May). Unfortunately the tournament was cancelled butGary is still confident that his team will reach their 50 goal target.

Gary said: “It puts us on catch up a little but we are still confident to reach our target.”

In their last game on Wednesday, the team scored another eight goals bringing their current total to 24 out of 50.
